Our goal is simple: to bring your pet into our care as soon as we reasonably can, keep you informed at each step and treat your pet with the same calm, careful handling we would want for our own animals.

How Same-day Pickup Works

• You call Gentle Tide and speak with a real person, not a call center.
• We confirm your location, your pet’s size and whether pickup is from home or a veterinary clinic.
• We give you a realistic pickup window for that same day whenever possible.
• Your pet is gently transferred to our vehicle using clear identification and written intake steps.
• Once your pet arrives at our facility, we review your wishes for aquamation or cremation and any keepsakes.

Availability for same-day pickup can vary based on distance, traffic and the time of day you call. Families in central and western Suffolk County NY, Nassau County NY and Queens NY often have the widest availability, but we will always be honest about what we can do.
